Remember this boring shiny brass chandelier I bought? Well, after painting it black, removing the globes, I have a new to me chandelier, perfect for my old house. I love it! Total cost: $19.59 ($15.00 for light, $4.59 for paint and finish) How I love a bargain that looks good.
Here's another finished item. I've had this old copper lamp for awhile, but couldn't find a shade to fit or complement it. Angie found this reproduction shade at a church bazaar in the spring. I think they complement each other nicely. And you can't tell its plastic unless you inspect it closely. I'm happy with it!
I'm glad to have a couple of projects completed. I've made a list of things I want to accomplish inside this winter. I'm currently working on the kitchen and a new bed.

Great re-do's Myra - that chandelier's transformation is amazing....No question where your daughters get their creativity from! Have a great weekend! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
Love the new chandelier in the kitchen! It looks MARVELOUS!! Glad you got to hang it up ~now we need to find you some wall sconces :O)!

Myra, fantastic redo's, love the lamps, love the way they look redone. We're always on the lookout for old bases to stick a stained glass piece on...the only problem is, in this tiny hut of ours, there's not really any more room for another lamp. But the boys are moving out, so I'll just keep making shades for them to take to their houses.
I love that table lamp of yours, great lines.
Myra you did a fantastic job on the chandelier. It looks so much better and does look so nice in your room. Great makeovers. I guess it is time to move indoors to get some projects done now.
Looks good , love that Free lamp shade on the copper lamp!
Very pretty!
Have a good night!
